AI - Concerns?

I've been listening to the "Down the Security Rabbithole Podcast" (DtSR) for the past 2 days and there most recent episodes speaks on the ups and downs of AI in search engines.

The only negative that I agree on is the loss in profit for most informative sites and the possible end of free online information. The steady migration to pay to play will happen if people continue to default to searching ChatGPT for answers to everyday questions.

However, I do not agree with AI making the masses less intelligent. I think it is a gateway to faster information. I think it may make the population lazier but I do not have concerns on the intellect of others (at least in this regard). Give it a listen and see if we have similar opinions.
